Home alone was my favorite movie, I remember watching it with wide open eyes and a strong beating heart, and it was really an amazing acting by the child star Macaulay Culkin. Lately, I’ve been thinking about him and what happened to my childhood star so I went through all the internet pages looking for some info about him and honestly I was completely shocked! What on earth has happened to that lovely child star? Oh my God, is that really him? That unbelievably skinny man!

Under the shock I decided to continue on digging for some child actors I knew, the list was so long but I did my best to cut it short. I thought it would be a good idea if I just chose ten of those child actors who unfortunately couldn’t handle the stress and particularly the enormous pressure of fame, the bright lights and fortune.

So, here are the ten young actors who ceased to be cute while getting older.

Diamond began acting as a child. He became known for playing the nerdy and lovable Samuel “Screech” Powers on the television show Saved by the Bell, a role he played for close to thirteen years from its beginning as Good Morning, Miss Bliss (1988–89) through its final incarnation, Saved by the Bell: The New Class (1994–2000). Continuing the series into college, Saved by the Bell: The College Years. However, growing into adulthood seemed to have an impacts on his personality as well as his physical appearance.

The younger Bonaduce became famous as a child actor of the 1970s on the TV sitcom The Partridge Family. He co-starred as Danny Partridge, the wisecracking, redheaded middle son of the singing pop band (headed by Shirley Jones). He and Shirley Jones were the only Partridge cast members whose actual first names were also that of the character each portrayed on screen. Bonaduce was also affected by fame and the bright lights, so it’s not strange these days to see him help those who struggle with fame.

8- Todd Bridges
